About Us
Our History & Mission
Founded in 1954 by dedicated members of Steamfitters Local Union 420, the Apprentice Alumni Association (AAA) was established to foster lifelong professional and personal connections among graduates of our rigorous apprenticeship program. Our mission is to support the next generation of union steamfitters, preserve the rich heritage and trade excellence of Local 420, and strengthen our community bonds through active brotherhood and mutual aid.
As an official 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, (#32-0848100) we operate transparently to ensure that our alumni network remains an impactful pillar of support for active members, retirees, and families within the industry.
Active Programs & Community Projects
Apprentice Mentorship & Support: We provide supplemental resources, networking guidance, and peer-to-peer mentoring to current apprentices navigating their training.
Alumni Networking & Outreach: We host regular membership meetings and informational seminars to keep our alumni connected, engaged, and informed on industry advancements.
Charitable Golf Outings & Events: Our annual recreational and charity events, including our signature golf outings, fishing trips, block pools, and raffles to raise vital funds to support local community initiatives, and member hardship funds.
